They are using an automation builder like ChatAutoDM to intercept specific keywords, publicly reply, and privately send the resource.
Log in to ChatAutoDM and authorize your Instagram Professional Account via Meta's official secure API.
In the Automation Dashboard, create a new flow. Select the "Comment to DM" trigger. You can choose to apply this to all existing posts, future posts, or even one specific viral Reel.
What word do they need to comment? It's crucial to make it simple. Provide variations like "LINK", "link", "link please", "LINK pls" to ensure the bot catches fuzzy matches.
When configuring a comment automation, you actually want to do two separate things:
